The mechanism of operation of the tool

The new tool appears as "Clear History", as shown in the previous screen capture, and is in a new tab called "Off-Facebook Activity" in the settings menu of the Facebook application, which means disabling tracking of Facebook activity.

When it opens, the user will be able to consult the applications and sites that follow his activities. They then send reports to Facebook and are used to target ads in partnership with advertisers.
