Tunisia is witnessing unprecedented cultural and tourist activities alongside the launch of the Arab Summit, among a remarkable presence of Arab visitors.

The Tunisian authorities have prepared special cultural and tourist plans for participation in the Arab summit, scheduled for next Sunday, which has about six thousand visitors from different Arab countries.

Tunisia is trying to create a festive atmosphere for the work of the Arab Summit by accompanying political meetings of parallel cultural activities.

City of Culture hosts many cultural activities and art exhibitions specially designed for Tunisians at the top.

A number of painters paint paintings on several bridges near the Palais des Congrès, where Arab summit meetings are held.

As the director of the media center of the Arab summit Bourawi, the General Committee of the summit organization has attributed an important space to the cultural aspect.

He stressed in a press release that the technical programs that will be provided to guests of Tunisia reflect the rich cultural heritage of Tunisia and the group of Arab countries.

Boraoui said that organizing such cultural activities would be an ideal opportunity to meet Arab intellectuals, media professionals and politicians in one space.

He added that the cultural program organized by the Organizing Committee included the organization of two technical exhibitions, including an exhibition on artifacts and pottery from the "Jizan" World Heritage Region.

The second part includes the organization of concerts of artists such as Ziad Gharsa and Saber Al Ribai, in addition to theatrical activities.

He confirmed that the organizing committee of the Arab League had organized a program of visits to historical and cultural sites.

During the first cultural activities associated with the Arab summit, an evening of poetry was organized on Tuesday, attended by a number of poets from different Arab countries, who interpreted poems in the presence of Tunisian and Arab music groups.

Numerous cultural and literary personalities, including the Deputy Secretary General of the League of Arab States, former Tunisian Minister Abdullatif Obaid and Tunisia's Ambassador to Tunisia, Tony Franjieh, attended the evening.
