Samsung Electronics announced Wednesday the launch of a smart phone in April, with Facebook and WAP applications designed for the new phone.
The Galaxy will cost $ 1980 (more than 6,000 Tunisian dinars) when it goes on sale April 26, announced officials of the company. The display of the new phone will be 4.6 inches when folded and up to 7.3 inches when stretched.
Samsung said that she was working with Facebook and Microsoft to find special versions of their famous applications compatible with the screen of her new phone.
The new device could help Samsung, the world's largest maker of mobile phones, compete with competitors such as Apple and Huawei Technologies, both of which sell smartphones.
Samsung said it has developed new manufacturing processes for the phone and a flexible display to allow it to be open and closed hundreds of thousands of times.
