Former Manchester United coach Alex Ferguson has returned to work after years of retirement, reported the English press.
Fox Sports confirmed that Ferguson's new position is that of technical advisor to the club's management and new technical director Ole Gunner Solchar.
Ferguson had the advantage over the choice of new coach Uli Solchar and former assistant Mike Fillan of the Red Devils.
United manager Ed Woodward recently recruited Ferguson after deciding to send Jose Mourinho back to the team's technical direction and ignoring his advice regarding the decision to appoint the Portuguese coach he two and a half years ago.
