ZURICH (Reuters) – Former international referee Ibrahim Chibu has been imprisoned for life after being found guilty of corruption, the International Football Association (FIFA) said Thursday.

FIFA also imposed a fine of 200,000 francs (200541 dollars) on Niger's decision, while banning all "football-related activities," including administrative activities, FIFA said in a statement.

FIFA has not revealed any other details except that she had informed the previous verdict on Tuesday.
