The International Football Federation (FIFA) has punished former international referee Ibrahim Chibu, suspended for life for being found guilty of corruption.
FIFA also imposed a fine of 200,000 francs (200541 dollars) on Niger's decision, while banning all "football-related activities," including administrative activities, FIFA said in a statement.
FIFA has not revealed any other details, except the fact that the former referee was informed of the suspension of the arbitration on Tuesday.
