Erik coach Erik Tin Hague was saddened by his loss to Real Madrid on Wednesday in the Champions League, expressing his dissatisfaction with the cancellation of the video technique for a goal close to his side.
"The video technique is crucial at this stage of the tournament," said Tin Hague in a press release at the end of the meeting.
"But all the praise to my team – they followed the plan and played with a wonderful spirit – it gave us confidence in the future, we must continue in the same way."
Ajax scored a goal in the first period, which was canceled by the referee after checking the video.
The Dutch lost 2-1 to become a difficult task in the second leg of the Champions League semi-final. The match will host the Santiago Bernabeu stadium in the Spanish capital, Madrid, on March 5th.
