Al Ittihad club president Mohamed Meselhi revealed his club's desire to sign Mido Jaber Al-Ahly.
"We want to include Mido Jaber from Al Ahly and we have already started negotiations with them to do so," said the president of the federation.
"Ahli has agreed to join Mido Gaber for us," he told FilGoal.com.
"But until now, we have not agreed with the player."
"Mido Jaber wants a foreign professionalism and we have not yet found an agreement with him."
Mido Jaber has played with Al Ahli in six games this season in the league and African Champions League and has not scored or scored.
Mido Jaber joined Ahly from Egypt in August 2016.
"There is nothing new in the Shikabala case for the moment," he said.
"There has been no development and things are frozen for the moment," he said.
"Shikabala is a great player and we welcome his presence here."
Shikabala is in the season with Zamalek at the Greek club Apollon after spending last season in Saudi Arabia.
His 32-year-old teammate co-signed this season in 11 league games. Score a goal and make another one.
