Al-Shabaab leader in Saudi Arabia Khaled Al-Baltan has warned against signing the player, Hattan Bahbari, whose contract expires in 2019.
"Any club that has signed with Bahbury or who has agreed verbally with him at that time will undoubtedly be punished. My policy is clear and announced from now on.Any Saudi player who would not have signed with me before the last 6 months of his contract will be sold.I have 8 foreign players who will be compensated.
Aged 26, he has been part of the youth since 2016 when he left the Saudi club Al Ittihad.
The Saudi player has played nine games for his club this season, scoring a goal and sending a crucial pass.
"I do not think that a Saudi club dares to break the rules.I mean that after January, young people have to be rivals for the title of champion. But, without a doubt, we will be an influential team. and we will qualify for an Asian Championship, "he added.
"In a history where a team has not been able to beat young people in the league, we will not allow any team to do it in the current circumstances," he added.
Al Shabab is fifth in the league with 16 points, 12 points behind champion Al Hilal.
