Issam Abdel Fattah, member of the board of governors of the Egyptian Football Federation and chairman of the referees' committee, responded to Al-Ahly's request regarding the delay in the application of video refereeing technology in Premier League matches.

"Egypt has asked the International Federation to apply the VAR, and only two African countries have made this request, namely Egypt and Morocco," Abdel Fattah said in "Watch with Schubert" on "On Sport FM ".
"The International Federation replied that the referees of both countries should follow a nine-month training period."
However, "for us, theoretically, there is no problem for the leaders, and we have to keep the practical experience of the referees." Then comes the role of the candidacy at the final stage ".

The chairman of the Judges Committee revealed that the cost of a system would rise to $ 140,000 and that the application of technology in Egypt would require at least three systems.
