Liverpool midfielder Fabieno said Chelsea should play in the European Super Cup on Wednesday night.
The Turkish city of Istanbul will host the European Super Match at 9 pm on Wednesday.
"It's a good start to the season with another European title, it will be a good match against a team for which we are competing for national titles in England," he said.
"I think winning the Super Cup will give us more confidence – every time you win a title, your name is registered again in the history of the club."
"With our team, our mentality and our ambition is to win, so we will compete for this title, which I think will help us gain a lot of confidence."
Liverpool aims to win the European Super Cup for the fourth time in its history after winning the years 1977, 2001 and 2005.
