Manchester United's left-back, Luke Shaw, said he's always wanted to compete with the best players to improve his career.
That followed praise the English had received for his suspension of Liverpool's Mohammed Salah in the two-game draw, which ended Sunday's draw in the 27th round of the Premier League at Old Trafford.
"These are the games that any player would like to play," he said.
"You always want to test yourself for the best and I want to evolve in my career."
"I am young and there is always room for development and that's what I always want to improve."
"I think there is a better level that I can reach and I do not think I have achieved the best and I know what I can offer when I get better."
"Of course, I'm happy about what happened in the game, but as I said, I'm the best possible to reach it and I want to focus more and push myself stronger forward. "
