LONDON (Reuters) – The British newspaper Sun has released a video of a number of Arsenal players appearing in a nightclub and inhaling nitrous oxide gas, called laughing gas.
The video features the quartet Mesut Ozil, Alexandre Lakazet, Pierre Obamyang and Matteo Jindozi in one of the nightclubs that breathe the hilarious gas, according to reports published in August and before the start of the season.
The club management reacted to the event and decided to question the players about these passages and "remind them of their responsibilities," according to the club spokesman.
Who told the Guardian: "We will talk about what happened to the players and we will remind them of their responsibilities as representatives of the club."
Arsenal made a good start to the season with no defeats in 20 games under Unai coach Emery.
The Gunners drew 1-1 against Manchester United on Wednesday with a 2-1 win over the English Huddersfield.
Uppamiang and Lakazit have had a good performance this season, leading the top scorer with 10 goals, while Jindusi has the chance to participate in the tournament.
Ozil was sacked last week by coach Emery. According to some information, he would suffer from back pain.
The London club is fifth in the competition with 31 points tied with Chelsea.
