A source close to Ali Maaloul, Ahli's left-back, has denied any interest from Cardiff City, who plays in the Premier League.
The source told FilGoal.com that the Tunisian back was determined to recover from an injury and complete his career with Al Ahly.
The source added that in the case of a suitable offer to the player, the player's representatives will be introduced to the club Al Ahli.
The source however pointed out that there was no offer of explanation for the moment.
Tunisian reports linked the Tunisian international to the city of Cardiff, which occupies 16th place in the English Premier League.
The 28-year-old has been playing for Ahly since the summer of 2016 after leaving the Tunisian club Sfaxien.
Maaloul has only played four games with Al Ahly in the league this season with a hamstring injury in the AFC Champions League semi-finals.
Maaloul played 69 games with Al Ahly, scoring 5 goals and 20 goals.
