Magdy Abdel Ghani, board member of the Egyptian Football Federation, described the atmosphere "in which the Egyptian football summit between Zamalek and Al Ahli took place".
"The atmosphere in which the game was played is ideal for playing football," Abdul Ghani told DMC's evening program.
"In Europe, I played under stronger rains."
The low level of the match was caused by the lack of concentration of players and coaches, "he said.
"The players missed some opportunities in front of goal and the coaching changes were too late," he explained.
The match between Zamalek and Al Ahli plunged into the water because of the heavy rains that hit the Borg El Arab stadium in Alexandria, ending in a draw.
Zamalek drew with Ahly in the match postponed between the 17th round of the league, the league standings remain unchanged.
Zamalek leads the standings with 54 points and Al Ahli is second with 52 points. After the summit, the number 117 between them ended in a draw.
