Hilmi Abdel Razeq, Al Ahly's legal adviser, has revealed a lawsuit by the British club that would have obtained 2.5 million euros from the payment of the transfer of Ramadan Subhi to Stoke City three years ago.
Abdel Razek told FilGoal.com: "We brought a lawsuit in a British court, informing the English club of the cancellation of the arrest of our money in the Misk case."
"Therefore, the consequences of the cancellation of the Misk decision should occur and the funds will be transferred to us," he said.
"We did it in front of a judge on a temporary basis, and we expect the rest of the transaction to be released," he said.
"The remaining 2.5 million euros transfer from Ramadan Sobhi to Stoke City."
Ramadan played for Stoke City for two seasons after his move, which cost the club 6.5 million euros, before settling in Huddersfield last season and on loan at Ahly this winter.
Coulibaly and happy
In the same context, Abdel-Razek revealed that the club had informed FIFA that it was necessary to act against former striker Sulaimani Coulibaly in light of the pronouncement of the "final verdict" and l & rsquo; Had fined him $ 1 million and $ 400,000 after the unilateral termination of the contract.
Abdel Razek also confirmed that the club was waiting for FIFA's reign in its crisis with Pyramids player Abdullah Al-Saeed.
Al-Ahly sold Abdullah Al-Saeed to Ahli Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, last summer. The contract stipulates that a condition prevents his transfer to an Egyptian club without the $ 2 million Al Ahly.
Abdullah Al-Saeed joined Pyramids in January after breaking his contract with Ahli Jeddah.
