Algeria beat Qatar on Thursday during a friendly match at the Khalifa International Stadium in Doha, capital of Qatar, which was not broadcast by Spanish coach Felix Sanchez.
Baghdadi Boungah's striker scored the only goal in the 60th minute and no crowd was present in the stands.
The Qataris played the team's main asset after the local league stopped since mid-month to start a preparatory camp for the team that will play the Asian Cup in the UAE next month.
The Algerians played with a local league team as well as with Bounjah and Youssef El-Bailay of Tunisian hope.
Qatar will face the Iranian team on Monday in its last friendly match before the Asian Cup on Jan. 5.
Qatar opens its Asian Cup match against Lebanon on January 9, faces North Korea on Jan. 13 and faces Saudi Arabia on Jan. 17.
