The International Basketball Association (IAA) announced Tuesday that Medhat Wardeh, one of Egypt's basketball legends, will be chosen as the "2019 Hall of Fame" by eight players from around the world with three coaches.

The International Federation will present Egyptian legend Medhat Warda and the rest of the guests at the opening of the World Cup on August 31st.
The World Basketball Championship will be held from August 31 to September 15.
Africa is represented by Angola, Côte d 'Ivoire, Nigeria, Senegal and Tunisia.
