The competition committee of the Egyptian Football Federation has decided to sanction Ahly and Zamalek.

The Ahli commission was fined 20,000 pounds and Zamalek owed the same amount because of their "offensive" cheers, according to a statement issued by Atha against the referee's first two matches against the border guards and against the stars.

The commission also decided to blame Zamalek coach Christian Gross for 15,000 books for failing to attend the press conference following his team's match against the stars.

The committee also decided to impose an additional fine of 5,000 pounds on Zamalek, due to the lack of commitment of the technical staff in the technical region and the collective objection raised during the match stars.

The National Commission imposed a fine of 5,000 pounds for not sticking to the bench during the match against the border guards.

The same punishment was imposed on border guard technical personnel for the same reason.

Al Ahli and Zamalek won 1-0.

In addition, the committee decided to arrest the indoor player Mohamed Sayed Khalifa for four matches because of his non-sporting behavior towards Tunisian referee Youssef Al-Sarayri, who led the match against Pyramids.

In another context, the committee decided to arrest Hossam Ghali, director of football in El Gouna, during a dismissal match to confront the referee in his team's match against the military production.

Zamalek is leading the standings with 48 points, while Al Ahli is third with 39 points and the Red have a lower match.
