"We made big mistakes in our team that cost us defeat," Ahly coach Martin Lasarte told reporters after his team's loss to Pyramids.

"The first half was good, but in the first 12 minutes of the second half, we made a lot of mistakes, mistakes that cost us defeat," Lasarte said.
"We tried to control things again after that, but we did not manage to adjust the result," he told reporters at the press conference.
"We have to engage a group of midfielders and a line of defense," he said, adding, "Ahli is a great team and needs a group of great players.
"When you're a winner in the first half, you have to make progress, but we have not done it."
"The defeat against Pyramids will not affect Al Ahly's progress in the league," he added.
"It was certainly important to win but it did not happen, we will try not to lose points in the next games."
"There are a lot of players in the training, but I will not argue with that."
