Tunisian Esperance won 2-1 at Benzerti's expense to win the Tunisian Super Cup title.
Anis Al-Badri scored for the first time in the 13th minute for Esperance with a superb shot from the penalty area before Taha Yassin Al-Khaneisi strengthened her lead on a free kick in the 16th minute.
Benzerti's only goal came from the penalty spot in the 34th minute by Abdul Halim Darraji.
The Tunisian superman in Doha is Esperance's second superstar in less than 10 days after the defeat of the African Super Cup in Doha against Morocco's Raja Casablanca.
Esperance won its fourth title and was the only one to be on the list of the most sacred Tunisians, surpassing Africa (3 titles) and the star (3 titles).
The last time Esperance won the Super Cup, it was in 2001, the last version of the local competition.
Esperance had to face his African counterpart (champion of the cup) but the latter refused to play the match with the Tunisian referee.
Al Sahli, the team's top-flight coach, refused to join the Super because of the pressure of the match and ultimately chose Benzarti as the title contender.
