Qatar won its first victory at the expense of Egypt at the World Handball Championships.
The Pharaohs fell in front of the Annabi team 22-28 in the second round of the group stage.
Egypt lost for the second consecutive game after losing to Sweden in the opening match.
Egypt and Qatar have already played three World Championship games and the Pharaohs have won all previous matches.
The Egyptian team has no point in the match, while the Qatari team has raised its score to two points.
Egypt will meet on Monday at 7 pm in Argentina in the third round of the group stage.
Ahmed Al-Ahmar managed to break Hussein Zaki's record with 221 goals, becoming the historical goal of Egypt and Africa with 226 goals.
