The Ismaili club announced today, Sunday, that they have signed a contract with coach Ihab Jalal to lead the team and succeed Dragan Jovic.

Al-Dervish has not disclosed details of his contract with his former defender.

Al-Ismaily revealed that Jalal will begin his new assignment, leading the team’s Maran, on Sunday.

The Ismaili club will be the ninth Egyptian club led by Jalal, after the electricity of Ismailia, Al-Hammam, Kafr El-Sheikh, Beni Suef, Misr Al-Maqsas, Enppi, Zamalek and Al-Masry.

Jalal, a former Egyptian and Ismaili player, made 206 Egyptian Premier League appearances, winning 96 (46%).

And the most important of his achievements remains to occupy the first place in the league with the release of the 2016-2017 season.

Jalal was a candidate for the head of the Egyptian national team in 2019, after the dismissal of Mexican Javier Aguirre.

In front of Jalal, the task is not easy, as Ismaily sits in 17th place in the Egyptian Premier League table.

Jalal will begin his new journey by facing his guest, Ceramica Cleopatra, on April 3.
