Hatem Al-Khaimi, president of the Al-Wehda club, announced that his club was in agreement with Moroccan star Ashraf Borgaki of Lens, France.
The head of the unit said: "The unit is in agreement with Borgaki on everything, and it is a secret that was revealed for the first time".
"He's a very important and unique player," he said in an interview on Radio 9090.
"We are just waiting for a response from FIFA before the official annexation of Borgaki."
"We asked FIFA about this and to know whether it was the super championship of last season or whether it was affected by Noraqi's position or not."
"We are waiting for FIFA's response now and I think it will be in the next few hours," he said.
The 24-year-old scored two goals in Lens's victory over Nancy in the 21st round of the French division.
He joined Porfesi for Lance last August from Saudi Al Hilal.
Now, it seems that he will be trained under the direction of Ahmed Hossam "Mido" in the Saudi unit.
Mido
The head of the unit talked about Mido and said: "Mido is a coach project at the highest level".
"Mido will be an excellent coach, not only at the Arab level, but I hope he will also be in Europe," he said.
"The job of trainer depends on the mentality and not the nationality," he said. "Everyone always thinks that the foreign nationality is the best and we consider it above the local nationality, regardless of the level of the coach."
"Mido is doing a remarkable and outstanding job with the unit, and I hope that he will achieve many accomplishments with the team."
He is fifth in the standings with 27 points in 16 games.
In the Guard Cup of the Two Holy Mosques, the unit managed to reach the round of 16 and is waiting for a strong confrontation against Ahly Jeddah.
