The African Football Confederation (CAF) has unveiled the fate of the Wydad and Kaizer Chiefs match in the African Champions League.
The African Confederation of Confederation has announced that Wydad’s match with the Kaizer Chiefs will be held one day from February 16 to 20 at a neutral stadium outside of Morocco and South Africa.
The match between the Wydad and the Kaizer Chiefs was scheduled for Saturday night, corresponding to February 13.
Moroccan authorities have refused to grant visas to guests, considering South Africa to be a country whose citizens are banned from entry due to the Corona virus.
Chiefs of Wydad and Kaizer are in Group C of the Champions League, alongside Angola Petro Luanda and Guinea Horoya Conakry.
Horoya beat Petro Atlético 2-0 in the first round of this group.
Wydad will play with Petro Atletico in Angola’s capital Luanda in the second round on February 23, while Kaizer Chiefs take on Horia in South Africa.
