The Moroccan Football Confederation has decided to return Mark Foot to the post of Moroccan coach under 23 years old.
The Moroccan U-23 team has failed to reach under-23 nations in Egypt in November this year.
Under the 23-year-old, the Moroccans lost 2-0 to the DRC in the second round, leaving Morocco out of the second round of the African championship.
The Moroccan Football Federation announced in its official statement that Mark Foot had been fired for "the failure of the coach to reach the parents of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, the coach's primary goal at of the Union ".
Egypt will host the Under-23 Nations Cup next November, the qualifying tournament for the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo.
