Karam Kurdi, a board member of the Egyptian Football Federation, said he was concerned about Pyramids' win in the Egyptian league this season and wanted to get Zamalek for the championship to benefit Egyptian football – from his point of view.
On the subject of the organization of African nations 2019 after the withdrawal of the tournament from Cameroon, Kurdi stressed that the Egyptian federation would not waste time thinking about the request for organization as Morocco was in control of it. "There is a meeting of the board of directors on Tuesday, we can see progress, but we do not want to waste our time thinking," he said.
"Morocco controls the African Union and is therefore the closest to the organization, it is difficult after the increase in the number of teams to 24."
