Mohammed Yousef, the coach of Al Ahly's coaching staff, has defended against some of the charges he's recently made.
"I'm not Mister X to control Carteron or Lasarte," Youssef said in an On Sport FM radio interview "My relationship with the current manager is very good."
"I have worked with several foreign coaches like Manuel José and I know the limits of the second man," he said.
"I do the tasks that are assigned to me and that are asked to me effectively and accurately, as well as all the technical staff members."
"Everyone knows his roles very well," he continued, "When the coach needs me, I'm not late and the decision is finally made."
As for the accusations of control over coaching decisions in Ahli, Youssef added that "these views were aimed at disrupting the team's progress".
Ahly beat the Tiger Valley 2-1 Monday at round 20 of the Egyptian League.
