Patrice Cartieron, the former French coach of Al Ahly, will be officially the coach of Raja Casablanca.
Raja Casablanca has announced the appointment of French coach Patrice Cartier to the coaching post of former coach Ahlan Carlos Garrido.
The contract will be signed with Cartier until the end of the season, with the option of extending the contract for an additional season.
Cartieron will receive the hope of Tunisia, who lost again in the final of the CAF Champions League, but this time in Super Africa next March and Raja Casablanca.
Garrido was Raja's coach and won the African Confederation title with them, before being sacked.
Raja Casablanca is fifth in the standings with 21 points, nine points behind leader Wydad, but with two games less, Raja will lead them to second place if they win.
Raja qualified for the group stage of the African Confederation and to participate in the Zayed Cup quarter-finals for Arab clubs after defeating Al Sahli 2-0 in Morocco.
