The Greek club Olympiakos has announced its agreement with the Ivorian striker Yaya Toure, by mutual consent, just three months after joining the club.
Yaya Touré ended his contract with Manchester City at the end of last season, choosing to join Olympiakos last September to spend the 2005-2006 season.
Olympiakos said in an official statement that he had agreed with Yaya Toure to terminate the contract by mutual consent, noting that the club's door would remain open to him, pointing out that he would travel "as a friend".
Yaya Toure at Olympiakos this season has played only five games, having never scored or scored any goals.
Torre joined Olympiakos in 2005 before leaving after a season in Monaco, then in Barcelona in 2007 and from there to Manchester City in 2010.
During his career, Yaya has played three English Premier League tournaments, the FA Cup and three league championships with Manchester City, in addition to winning the Spanish League, the Champions League, the King's Cup, the Super European Cup, Super Cup and Club World Cup with Barcelona.
