Al Ittihad Saudi Arabia has announced the appointment of Marcello Grohie of Brazilian Gremio to strengthen the goalkeeper's position in the current transfer market.
The veteran Brazilian goalkeeper has signed a three-and-a-half year contract with the Panthers, who continue to strengthen their ranks in the winter market.
Aged 31, Gremio is very busy and joined the team in 2000 before being promoted to the first team in 2005.
The Brazilian goalkeeper was on the list of finalists for the 2007 Copa Libertadores, before contributing significantly to Gremio's victory in the 2017 Copa Libertadores, before joining the final of the Club World Cup the same year.
Grohie has a total of 408 matches, according to Al Ittihad, with a length of 188 cm.
The new guard of UEFA will play two international matches for Brazil in 2015.
Grohie is on Brazil's list in 2015 and 2016, but has never appeared in a match.
Jaruhi is the third contract in January, after striker Muhannad Al Shenqeti and Siku Sanugu of the former Young Boys group.
Al Ittihad has been in a difficult position in the Saudi League's first round, winning an orphan, and is in center 15 – before the last – with 6 points.
