Rodolfo Donovrio, president of River Plate, the Argentine Football Association (ACF), is attacking his position regarding the transfer of Copa Libertadores from the stadium of Montumenthal.
River Plate was forced to play the first leg of Copa Libertadores on the outside and face Boca Juniors in Santiago Bernabeu on Sunday night.
"We would have liked the Argentine Football Federation to defend River Plate and Boca Juniors so that the match could be played on the River field as planned," said Donovrio, who arrived in Spain with his club's mission.
"The Argentine federation has not taken any steps to ensure the match in Argentina, but has also decided to transfer it to the meeting of the executive committee of the South American Football Association.
"It's a football match and not a war," he concluded.
