The image rights hinder the signing of a 42 million euro contract between Napoli and Mexican striker Herving Lozano of PSV Eindhoven.
According to the Italian newspaper "Gazzetta dello Sport", the photo and sponsorship rights of the Mexican cost between 4 and 5 million euros per season, and have no intention of abandoning them.
According to the Italian media, the rights of the images in Mexico and the Netherlands are similar, so that the Mexican companies Pachuca and PSV have easily reached an agreement contrary to what is happening in Napoli today.
The deal could take longer to resolve, especially since Aurelio de Laurinitz, the owner of Naples, considers the crucial point in the negotiations.
The deal could be halted if both sides fail to reach an agreement, especially when the PSV starts the season against Naples.
Mino Raiola leads negotiations when he is working on a photo rights agreement or requires a higher salary for the player.
Lozano joined PSV since Pachuca in the summer of 2017 for an amount of 8 million euros. His current contract lasts until the summer of 2023.
Last season, Lozano made 40 appearances in all competitions, scoring 21 goals and 12 goals.
