Liverpool goalkeeper Juergen Klopp said his Brazilian goalkeeper, Alison Baker, was very skilled with the ball away from his protection.
Allison joined Liverpool last summer and made the difference with the Reds with just eight Premier League goals this season and led the team to the league.
"Allison may be a good footballer," he told ESPN on Tuesday.
"It was always clear that he was a very influential player with Roma, but I did not see him clearly because of the different style of play in Rome."
"It was a little surprising and a very good surprise," he said.
Allison has kept a clean sheet in 12 league games this season.
