KUWAIT: President of the Saudi Football Federation (FAF), Qusay Al-Fawaz, resigned from his position at Monday's board meeting.
The Saudi Football Federation has announced through the account "Twitter" the resignation of the chairman of the board of directors.
The members of the board of directors, Turki Al-Huqail and Al-Tuwaijri, also resigned.
The Vice President of the Federation, Luay Al-Subaie, the striker of the President until the date of the General Assembly to elect a new board of directors for the coming period, in accordance with the provisions of Article 33 of the statute of the Saudi Football Federation.
Qusay al-Fawaz won the elections of the Saudi Union last September.
The elections took place after the departure of former President Adel Ezzat and temporarily brought the star of Saudi football Nawaf Al-Tamimat.
