Egypt's Mahmoud Trezeguet took the lead in the 17th round of the Turkish league with a 4-1 victory over Besiktas.
Trezeguet played the full match despite his departure from the team.
Kasim Pasha climbed into the league and increased his lead to 29 points, six points behind leader Istanbul Pakashakhar.
The Turkish league is suspended at the end of the current round and will resume its matches in the second half of January.
Trezeguet can leave the team a few days later, many clubs having sought his services.
Trezeguet is furious against the club's leadership claiming 10 million euros, which the player considers to be exaggerated, according to Turkish news.
