Turki Al-Sheikh, owner of the Pyramids Club and chairman of the Arab Football Federation, said that he had described the Zamalek club's history as a "story".
Turki Al-Sheikh said: "I would like to clarify my relationship with the Zamalek club and a history certificate regarding the club president."
"When Zamalek supported Ferjani Sassi, Christian Gross and Hamdi Al-Naqaz and renewed Tarek Hamed's contract, Pyramides took advantage," he said.
"How could we have contracted Al-Shennawi and Ali Jabr ?," he explained, "The president of Zamalek is a person who understands very well and to persuade him to leave his players, he must return him."
"The president of Zamalek does not provoke me and does not cause pyramids," he said. "We talked together after the draw of the Arab Championship and told him that I wanted to support Zamalek with a sum of money and asked me to transfer it to the club's accounts."
"The president of Zamalek never asked me to pay for plane tickets or anything like that," he said.
"At the beginning of my sports career, I went into crisis with the president of Zamalek, but over time, I learned that he loved his club and his country."
