The competition committee of the Egyptian Football Federation has decided to penalize Zamalek for 40 000 kilos because of the repeated supporters during the match of Arab Contractors in the 25th round of the Egyptian championship.
Zamalek was tied 2-2 in the match, which gave rise to much controversy and threw some of the amounts of bottles on the refereeing team led by Mohamed Hanafi.
In addition, the competition committee decided to impose a 20,000-pound fine on Zamalek coach Ayman Abdel Aziz for what he said about Hanafi after the match.
Competition Committee Manager Amer Hussein told FilGoal.com yesterday that the committee would discuss Hanafi's report and the matchmaker's report at its Wednesday meeting.
Zamalek will face Saturday in a postponed match of the 27th round, with two points in favor of Al-Abyad at the top of the league.
