Noor Al-Sayed, Al Ittihad player from Alexandria, believes his team has imposed their own style against Zamalek and that's why they won and qualified for the Arab Championship.
Al Ittihad beat Zamalek 4-3 on penalties on the 16th day of the Arab Championship (Zayed Cup for Champions Clubs) after returning the return match with the victory of the Alexandria team with a goal without answer.
"We know very well that it is a tough and difficult confrontation and we have been preparing for it a week ago," said Nour El Sayed after the match.
"The team went through many difficult conditions and managed to get out of it."
"The club management supports the team constantly and our goal was to qualify for the quarter-finals of the tournament."
"We imposed our style on Zamalek throughout the match and even after scoring the goal, we played as Hilmi Tolan said."
"We'll be back in the league now," he said.
Thus, Al Ittihad becomes the first Egyptian team to qualify for the eighth round of the Arab Championship after Al Ahli and Zamalek and the expectation of Isma ili who will play against the Moroccan Raja.
