UEFA has announced the suspension of Bayern Munich striker Thomas Mueller for two matches.
UEFA has revealed Mueller's penalty after a very violent intervention on half-silvered Thalavico in Ajax, interrupting two matches.
Muller will miss Liverpool's come and go in the last 16 games of the Champions League.
Thomas Muller was sent off after a violent intervention against Taliavico in the final round of the group stage of the tournament.
The 29-year-old has played in six UEFA Champions League games this season but has not scored or made a goal.
The first leg matches will be held at the Anfield Stadium in England on February 19th and the return match on March 13th in Germany.
