Tottenham has announced the official absence of striker Harry Kane for the team's matches officially for at least a month and a half.
Keane was injured in the last game against Manchester United, which ended in a 1-0 win.
The Tottenham club said in its official statement that preliminary tests had confirmed the ligament injury of the left ankle.
The statement pointed out that the player will be rehabilitated and monitored by the medical staff of the team should resume training in early March.
Kane misses nine matches for Tottenham and Arsenal on March 2 could make his first comeback after an injury.
Keane will not play against Chelsea on Jan. 24 in the FA Cup semi-finals and will not play Real Madrid in the FA Cup Round of 16 on the 27th of the same month.
In the English Premier League, Keane misses six games for the Spurs, including Fulham, Watford, Newcastle, Leicester City, Burnley and Chelsea.
Keane also misses the fact that he will face Tottenham in front of Dortmund in the final of the Champions League.
