Saudi club Ahli Jeddah announced that Omar Al-Souma had been injured in the ankle and had resumed training after two weeks.
Omar Alsumah is injured in the clash against Al Hilal last Sunday in the semi-finals of the Arab Champions League.
Ahli Jeddah published in an official statement the details of the sergeant's injury. "The medical and radiological examinations performed by Omar al-Suma, the first striker of the team, proved that he had an ankle sprain."
"In the recent Ahli match against Al Hilal last Sunday in the semi-finals of the Zayed Cup for champions clubs."
According to the statement, "Hatem Juma, head of Ahli's medical service, said the Suma needed two weeks of treatment and rehabilitation before returning to train the first team."
Reports had indicated the possibility of a serious poison injury during the meeting before Ahli Jeddah officially announced the details of the injury.
The first leg between Al Hilal and Ahly Jeddah ended with a 1-0 win and a semi-final match on April 15th.
