The General Assembly of the Football Federation has approved the official cancellation of the eight-year clause.
Members of the current board of directors, Issam Abdel Fattah, Khaled Latif, Saif Zaher and Ahmed Mujahid, are now eligible to stand in the next elections, the old list having been banned because of their election at two consecutive sessions.
The General Assembly also approved the composition of the clubs of the third section, directly with the cancellation of the previous conditions set by the Union.
This occurred at the request of third level clubs at an emergency public meeting held in a hotel on October 6th.
The old rules required that all clubs join the General Assembly of Gabaliyah to receive 60 points divided on their participation in certain activities belonging to Jabalia.
