River Plate's Argentinian forward Rafael Santos missed UAE's loss to the World Club Cup for lack of luck.

"We came to qualify for the World Cup final but we were not lucky," Santos said after the match for BN Sports.
"We played well in the match against a rival who was trying to rely heavily on counter-attacks."
"We had more of a chance to score and finish the match for us and we always wanted to be in the penalty box, but we unfortunately could not get the desired result."
"We were also aware of the danger of kicking on us and the rookies, but in the end, the match ended on penalties."
River Plate plays against the losers of Japan's Kashima and Real Madrid in third and fourth places.
