Andy Robertson, Liverpool's left-back, stressed the need to play with all the strength and effort needed during the remaining matches in the Premier League.
Liverpool beat Burnley 4-0 in the 30th round of the English Premier League to continue chasing Manchester City, with a point over the Reds.
"We have 8 games in which we have to give 100% of our level and play every game like the Cup, and we have to manage well this critical period," Robertson said after the game.
"We have tough games to come, but we want to chase Manchester City," he said in comments posted on the Liverpool website.
"Our reaction to Burnley was positive after our delay and that's what we needed to improve in previous matches."
"In front of goal, we were ruthless when we had opportunities and scored 4 goals," Robertson said.
"Last season we played very well in front of our home and scored goals, and that's what we need in this showdown," he said.
"Of course, we will go to Germany to qualify for the quarter-finals."
"It will be a different match in the first leg, Bayern will try to move a little forward to score goals, we have to stop them first and get away from the goal and then exploit the opportunities we have."
Liverpool drew 0-0 at Bayern Munich in the last 16 of the Champions League. On Wednesday, he will face the second leg.
