Ahmed Shubair, vice president of the Egyptian Football Federation, described what happened to the Egyptian team by filming television interviews in their room during their participation in the 2018 World Cup.
"Of course, what happened is outrageous," Schubert told Al-Maash via Echo Al-Balad channel.
"It's a World Cup that should not happen to players."
"Up to now, no penalty has been inflicted on a player who did it.I did not ask any question about it."
When asked if the players were punished, he replied, "There must be a punishment for them."
Egypt, which lost all of their games against Uruguay, Russia and Saudi Arabia, had to leave the World Cup in the first round.
