Chelsea has declined the tempting offer of Barcelona to place Willian in the current transfer window.
The English Telegraph newspaper announced that Barcelona had offered Chelsea a £ 50 million bonus and Malcolm's transfer to the English club.
But the club rejected the offer of his Spanish counterpart, preferring to retain the Brazilian player.
The 28-year-old has played 31 games with Chelsea this season, scoring four goals and six more.
Willian's contract with Chelsea ends 18 months later.
Malcolm played 10 games with Barcelona, mostly as an alternative and scored just two goals.
