Barcelona coach Ernesto Valverde was delighted with his team's performance against Sevilla on Wednesday in a 6-1 win over Lionel Messi to oust the Andalusian club from the King's Cup.
"The best thing to do is that we feel safe and that we can confirm that we are a team that shows its abilities when they need it," Valverde said after the match.
Blaugrana has qualified for the semi-finals with Real Betis. Valencia and Real Madrid or Girona will join them on Thursday.
The draw determines the semifinals.
Barcelona won the title last season beating Sevilla 5-0.
