Prince Murtada Mansour, the general supervisor of the Zamalek football team, denied any intention of doing without Tariq Hamed or Abdullah Gomaa.
"There is no intention of compromising the services of Tariq Hamed or Abdullah Gomaa," said Amir Mourtada, quoted by Zamalek's official website.
"And do without any player in the core strength of the team during the current transfer window, no matter what the material temptations."
"Our goal is to maintain the stability and harmony of the team in order to participate in all local tournaments and in Africa," said Zamalek's general manager.
Tariq Hamed and Abdullah Gomaa have been associated with the transfer into pyramids at the current transfer window.
Turki Al-Sheikh, of Zamalek, owner of the club, said after the draw of his team against Zamalek that they wanted to join the team and try to reach an agreement with Al-Abyad.
Zamalek is facing a 3-2 draw against Pyramids.
