Investigators were able to identify the wreckage of the plane that had left Emiliano Sala, Cardinal City, and disappeared over the Channel Islands on 21 January.
The 28-year-old striker flew to Cardiff from Nantes in western France, led by his special driver, David Ebutson, to join his new team, Cardiff City.
The wreckage was found at the bottom of the Channel, according to Sky News.
